When to use collagen Hydro Gel?

  As the name suggests is a water-based gel used for external wounds, especially for Autolytic debridement which is also called bedsores. This is a primary type of dressing that should be changed after 48 hours. It works by giving moisture to dry and dehydrated wounds so that medicine can pass through dead skin cells and heal the wound. This can also be used for 1st-degree burns which works by removing the outer layer of the burnt skin so that the medicine can pass through the skin.  It is sterile and for single use only.    How to apply?   Debride the wound bed to ensure the wound is free of debris and necrotic tissue   Wash the Wound Bed with Normal Saline   Apply a generous coating of SYNERHEAL GEL to cover the wound site   Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing   The contraindication of the gel is third-degree burns and individual sensitivity to bovine-derived materials.
